The SADVARTHA -’26 (Good News - ’26) mega humanitarian initiative, organized by This-Ability Mission Kerala and INDAC in association with Rotary Cochin Midtown, BMVSS-Jaipur, and various partner organizations, created a remarkable milestone in social welfare history. Held at Ernakulam Town Hall, Cochin, Kerala, India from 24th to 27th March 2026, the initiative focused on restoring dignity and independence to lives through assistive care and inclusion.
More than 1500+ verified beneficiaries were directly supported, while the total participation exceeded 3500 individuals. The program provided free artificial limbs, hands, wheelchairs, hearing aids, tricycles, walkers, and other assistive devices to persons with disabilities, senior citizens, children, and underprivileged individuals. As the saying goes, “Service to humanity is service to God,” and this initiative truly embodied that spirit.
The event was not just about distribution but about transformation. It included structured medical assessment, measurement, fabrication, and fitting processes, along with medical camps for blood check-ups, optical distribution, empowerment workshops, and 20+ cultural and community engagement sessions. As a famous proverb reminds us, “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.”
Every beneficiary walked away not just with physical support, but with renewed confidence and hope. The initiative proved that compassion, when organized with vision, can create large-scale impact. “Where there is unity, there is always victory,” and this mission stood as a living example of collective strength.
SADVARTHA -’26 will be remembered not just as an event, but as a movement of kindness—where humanity came together to restore mobility, dignity, and hope.
